I was wondering if anyone is aware of the ruling of placing some beneficial ahaadeeth or Quranic ayaat as reminders on our walls at home. I'm not talking about those carpets some people hang of the Ka'bah or gold plates of the Kalimah or anything.. I'm referring to writings on simple pieces of paper, or maybe colored paper for the purpose of catching the eye and nice appearance.. maybe using a good thick marker to write.. and post them on the walls in the living room for instance, for the purpose of a reminder. Some homes may be in need of such, especially if arguments are prevalent, and if the family members believe that putting up such reminders will help immensely in avoiding the footsteps of the shayateen.. would this be permissible?
