as salaam alaykum,

Akh Yusuf asked me to follow up his bayaan with some amendments as follows:

As salaamu alaykum,

Title:  YUSUF ADAMS REPENTANCE

To Salafitalk.net

1. I, Yusuf Adam acknowledge fully all the various errors that I have been
accused with.
2. I will not deceive the muslims anymore, I will not pretend to be a person
of knowledge or a translator.
3. I feel horrible about what I had been doing.
4. I have the intention to never do it again.

he was only asked to post his tawbah, and the rest of what he said was 100% unnecessary.  There is no need for him to inform the people of what he has been advised with.  He was only asked to post his open repentence with NOTHING ELSE with it and then remain quiet and focus on his relationship with Allaah.  So if he was truly adhering to the advice given to him, then we would not have seen all this kalaam from him, rather all that was sought from him was the last four points of repentence.

Anyway, it would have been nice for us to have good hope for him, reading a simple humble apology and repentence as the last thing we hear from him, but he chose to go out like this.  Anyway, al-hamdulillaah we will not have to hear from him anymore (as he has agreed and we hope he will humbly hold to that) and we ask Allaah to correct him and guide him.

And lastly, his point #10: "10. I was advised to suffice myself with bringing the Aqwaal of the Scholars and their students."

I don't have a clue what this is about.  No one ever asked him to bring anything.  How is it that he was advised to remain quiet AND at the same time he is "bringing the Aqwaal of the Scholars and their students"?  Rather, we don't want him to bring anything, not aayaat, not ahaadeeth, not statements of scholars!  We only want safety from his deception for ourselves and our brothers!

Wallaahul-Musta'aan!

Moosaa

"and I ask them and Allah to forgive me and overlook"

should be:

"and I ask Allaah to forgive me and overlook, and then those brothers"

Assalamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah

Jazakallah Khayr akhee Moosa.
I also have seen Yusuf adam acting strangely in other forums as well...first i was surprised how he acts alone (i.e. not quoting from the scholars, not relying on them).however..we hope that our brother sincerely understood his error and repented.

wa'alaykum salam wa rahmatulah.
Abu Abbas.
