The Seven Whom Allaah Will Shade in His Shade, is This (reward) Specifically

Question: Is the hadeeth of the seven whom Allaah will shade in His shade on the day when there will be no shade except His shade, specifically referring to the men or if the women perform those same actions will they receive the aforementioned reward?

Sheikh 'Abdul 'Azeez Bin Baaz (rahimahullah) answered:
This virtue that is mentioned in the hadeeth is not only pertaining to the men, rather it comprises the men and the women alike. Therefore the young girl who is raised up upon the obedience of Allaah is included in that (i.e. reward).

Likewise those women who love one another for the sake of Allaah are included. Also any women who is called to commit some lewdness by a man of status and handsomeness and she says: "Verily I fear Allaah" is included in that reward. And the woman who gives charity from a lawful acquisition so much so that her left hand doesn't know what her right hand gives is included. Similarly, the one who remembers Allaah alone (and begins to cry) from amongst the women gets the reward just like that of the man.

As for imamate, then this is from the distinguishing features of the men and likewise congregational prayer in the masaajid is also specifically for the men. And the prayer of the woman in her home is better for her as it has come in many authentic hadeeth on the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam).

And Allaah is the possessor of success.

If I said anything correct, then it is from Allaah (subhanahu wa taa'ala), and if I erred, then that is from me and shaytan.
