Topic: Did Shaykh Albani allow a Salafi Dai'ee to give lectures in a hizbee Masjid if there are no strings attached?

The details in this matter are found in the post of the Brother, Ustaadh Abdul Ilah Lahmami hafidhahullah as follows:-
quote:
I searched for sheikh Al Albaaniıs tape (rahimahullaah) where he was supposed to have said that you can do a lecture in a hizbee mosque as long as no strings attached and without mentioning differences!!!

Alhamdolillaah I found the tape, it happened to be the four daıwiyyah tapes that Abul Hasan had done with Sheikh al Albaani rahimahullaah. It was tape number 2, side 1. I listened to it many times until I came to the conclusion that Ahmed Sagheer is not telling the truth. Yes, sheikh al Albaani rahimahullaah says ıYafrid wa la Yofrad ıalaihı meaning that the caller should stipulate conditions on them and they must not stipulate condition on him. And that the caller does not surprise them but he tells them what he will talk about. And Abu Layla in the background of this tape says ıO Sheikh you were invited by a university and you did not attendı So Sheikh al Albaani rahimahullaah says, ıBecause they want me to talk how they want me to talk not how I want to talk.ı

Then at the end of the answer regarding this question Abul Hasan summarises in the presence of Sheikh al Albaani while Sheikh agrees, Abul Hasan says that if the student of knowledge goes he must CLARIFY THE MANHAJ AND MENTION THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN US AND THEM!!!

Shaykh Salih al-Fawzaan was asked,

Are the jama'aat to be associated with or are they to be abandoned?

He replied, When the intent behind mixing with them is to call them to adhere to the Book and the Sunnah and to leave the error, for the one who has knowledge and insight, then this is something good. And this is from calling to Allaah. As for when this mixing is for the sake of friendliness with them and companionship with them, without calling them, and without clarifying, then this is not permissible.

It is not permissible for a person that he should mix with the opposers except from an angle within which there is a Sharee'ah benefit, from calling them to the correct Islaam, and explanation of the truth to them so that they may return. As Ibn Masood went to the Innovators who were in the mosque and who stood over them and rejected their bidah. And also Ibn ıAbbaas (radiallaahu anhumaa) who went to the Khawaarij and debated with them and repelled their doubts and then amongst them were those who returned (to the truth). Hence, mixing with them is from this angle, then this is desired. And if they then persist upon their falsehood it is obligatory to leave them and shun them, and to make jihad against them for the sake of Allaah.

Is it Permissible to teach and give lectures in the Mosques of Ahul
Bidıah: Shaykh Abdul Muhsin al Abbaad, may Allah preserve him,

Q:Does one cooperate with the islaamic groups of the ikwaan al
Muslimeen and Jamaıtu at tableeg and gives lectures where they are
located (in their Mosques)?

The Shaykh Abdul Muhsin al Abbaad answered by saying: No he does not
give lectures where they are located ,nor does he teach there for
indeed they will not benefit from his lectures and his duroos rather
they are only going to use him as a means to execute their
goals(Their desires).

Also I have heard many times from Shaykh Yahya alHajooree , may Allah
preserve him, saying that it is not permissible to give lectures in the
mosques of the people of innovation except in one scenario ,where
there is no mosques found for people of the Sunnah .

The Rulings on Groups and Parties
Regarding Co-operation with Groups and Parties in Opposition to the Way of the Salaf
Author: Committe of Major Scholars
Article ID : MNJ030002  [3937]

Shaikh Suhaib Hasan Abdul-Ghaffaar, hafizahullaah, head of the 'Noble Quraan Society' in London requested a verdict from the Committee of Major Scholars in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. So the reply was Fatwaa no. 18870 dated 11/6/1417H which corresponds to Wednesday the 23rd of October 1996, and it was signed by: (i) The noble Shaikh and prominent scholar Shaikh Abdul-Azeez ibn Abdullaah ibn Baaz and (ii) Shaikh Abdul-Azeez ibn Abdullaah Aal ash-Shaikh and (iii) Shaikh Saalih ibn Fawzaan al-Fawzaan and (iv) Shaikh Abdullaah ibn Abdur-Rahmaan al-Ghudayaan and (v) Shaikh Bakr ibn Abdullaah Aboo Zayd, hafizahumullaah wa Ayyadahum bifadlihi.

Note: The number of questions which Shaikh Suhaib put to the Committee of Major Scholars was two. The first of the questions from Shaikh Suhaib:

"Based upon the Saying of Allaah, the Most High:

Help you one another in al-Birr and at-Taqwaa, but do not help one another in sin and transgression. Soorah al-Maaidah (5):2

It is said that it is obligatory to co-operate with all of the Islamic Jamaaahs, even though they differ with us with regard to methodologies and their way in giving dawah. So Jamaaatut-Tableegh has a way of giving dawah different to the way of the Ikhwaanul-Muslimeen and Hizbut-Tahreer and Jamaaatul-Jihaad and the Salafees. So how is this co-operation to be? And is it restricted for example to joint participation in conferences and gatherings? And what is to be the case when dawah is being given to non-Muslims, since confusion may be caused in the minds of new Muslims by the fact that each Jamaaah from these Jamaaahs will direct them to their own centres and their own scholars, which will confuse them. So how will it be possible to avert this matter?"

The Committee of Major Scholars replied:

"What is obligatory is to co-operate with the Jamaaah that proceeds upon the manhaj (methodology) of the Book and the Sunnah and that which the Salaf of the Ummah were upon in calling to the Tawheed of Allaah, the One free of all imperfections, and making worship purely and sincerely for Him, and warning against shirk and innovations and sins, and to advise the Jamaaahs that are contrary to that.

So if they return to what is correct, then they are to be co-operated with. But if they persist upon being contrary then it is obligatory to keep away from them and to adhere to the Book and the Sunnah.

Then co-operation with the Jamaaah that adheres to the manhaj (methodology) of the Book and the Sunnah will be upon everything that is good, righteousness and obedience to Allaah whether gatherings, conferences, lessons or lectures and in everything containing benefit for Islaam and the Mu

Shaykh Ubayd al-Jaabiree hafidhahullah was asked, "What do we do if one from the masaajid of ahlul-bid'ah asks a student of knowledge to give a lecture or classes in their masaajid with no conditions (from any book or topic), can he go there and give those classes?"
