Wa Alaikumus Salam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu
I've tried downloading the salafitoolbar and the toolbar appeared in a blue 'diamond' shaped icon appeared on the toolbar section. But everytime I click it I get the message:
" Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime error
Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplorer
abnormal program termination "
Has anybody had a similar problem? How do I sort it out?

As Salaamu `Alaykum. Some people are reporting problems with Windows 98. The reason for this is that the dll file requires unicode to display Arabic Text. If you have Windows 98 it will not be supported and you will get an illegal operation error. This is due to the limitations of Windows 98 and is not a problem with the Toolbar itself. You need Windows 2000, XP etc.
However, the number of people reporting this problem are very few, less than 1 in every 100 downloads. Maybe its time for an upgrade to XP...

Are you still having problems? The site may have been down temporarily, but there have been over 100 downloads so far.

Mash'Allaah, seems very beneficial except that the link doesn't work for me, neither is the site up.
Anyone else having this prob?
