Does anyone know about Sa'eed Rageah as-Soomaal and his salafiyyah, if any? I herd he is a da'ee in the Maryland area.
Please let us know about him as much as is Islaamically possible, so that we would know his true reality.
May Allaah reward all the salafee participants on this forum for their love of salafiyyah and the 'Ulemah.
A former employee of WAMY, he offered the da'wah centre in Toronto cooperation, money, sponsership... with the condition that WAMY can affiliate them and that pictures of the sponsered event can be displayed in WAMY's publication, their WAMY banner put on all events etc.
WAMY's activities are clearly ikwaanee as their sponsership of deviant organizations would indicate.
Walhamdulilah, the Salafiyyeen declined this offer.

He tried to make it look as though he was eager to work with the Salafis, however we heard that when he went back to the US, he brought the likes of Jamal Zarabozo and other deviants to his masjid.
Indeed, this Sa'eed Rageah is one to be considered a mukhalif to the da'wah of the Salaf, and at the very least he needs to be watched carefully.

The brother also mentioned that they brought Abdullah as-Sabt and Muhammad Sayed Adly for lectures at their masjid but couldn't recall the excat dates.
An essay can be written about most of the speakers on this list and their opposition to the slafee da'wah. wal llaahul musta'aan
It seems as this brother, Sa'eed Rageah is calling to other that the salafee dawah.
2009: i've not personally met him, but i know he's been to my city (in Yorkshire, England).
He is relatively new here, and since the people may not have previously heard of him, i just wanted to raise this thread.
From the posters i've seen, he has given lectures at (and is promoted as a 'Shaykh', by) a big ikhwaani organisation in my city,
And I also recall his name appearing on the line-up of the '2009 Peace TV Conference' (but i cant confirm this).
