This is a question for the Students of Knowledge who maybe familiar with the correct answer or making available to us a means of contacting "those who know;
We're in up-state New York and there are a few masajid here but they are the regular Islamic Centers [affiliated with ISNA], WD Muhammad groups, Farakkan temples or Sufi musalla... Those of us upon Sunnah, who are from various countries, are attempting to establish a masjid that adheres to the manhaj of Salafus-Saliheen. Presently we are renting but we are growing and want to build a masjid in the inner-city. Many of the Muslims who are able to help have groceries stores that sell some Haram items. Our question is this: " Is there a statement from the 'Ulamaa concerning accepting and/or soliciting these stores, and using that money to build this masjid?"
