Narrated Jubair bin Mut'im, may Allah be pleased with him.
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: "I have five names, I am Muhammad and Ahmad, and I am Al-Mahi (the obliterator) by whom unbelief would be obliterated, and I am Al-Hashir (the gatherer) after whom mankind will be gathered (on the Day of Resurrection), and I am Al-'Aqib (There will be no prophet after me)." [saheeh al-Bukhari]

Hudhayfah ibn al-Yamaan radiallaahu 'anhu said. "The people used to ask the Messenger of Allaah sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam about the good, but I used to ask him about the evil for fear that it would overtake me ..."

lol, I see your point, it should be "‏حدثنا", but the text for this hadeeth that I found online said "‏حدثني" which if speaking from Imaam al-Bukhari's point of view would be correct.

Hudhayfah ibn al-Yamaan radiallaahu 'anhu said. "The people used to ask the Messenger of Allaah sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam about the good, but I used to ask him about the evil for fear that it would overtake me ..."

if you said

you still were not in that group of people that Ibraaheem ibn Al-Munthir narrated to.  The word had-dathanaa denotes a direct narration, meaning tasreeh, or direct transmission.  When quoting a chain from Al-Bukhaaree, for example, you would say:

And this is what is best, and Allaah knows best.

also the prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم  said: أنا المكفي  I am al-Mukaffi, (i.e. there is no prophet after me) and in the sunan و أنا نبي الرحمة و نبي الملحمة و نبي التوبة  and I am the prophet or mercy and the prophet of Mulhamah (sent upon the hour) and the prophet of tawbah.

So this makes 9 authentic names established for our prophet

Please refer bakes to the tapes of shaikh Yahyaa al Hajoori 'Qawlul Mufeed'
