last night i heard a hadeeth that the prophet (salllahualayhi wasallam) once while on the way to tabuk, he n his companions walk pass the place of the people of thamud n he told his companions to walk quickly, out of fear that Allah might send down punishment onto them as He punished the people of thamud. its a saheeh hadith, maybe in bukhari/muslim.
does this mean that we are not encouraged to visit the places of the people that Allah had punish eg. pyramid of fir'aun?
