SALAFI SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

A new scholarship program for Muslim children at www.YPONLINE.INFO for Muslim families who want their children to attend an Islamic school, but may not have the financial means to do so.  Preferably a school upon the methodology of the Prophet (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) as understood and practiced by the Salafus Saalih, a school upon the principles of Ahlus-Sunnah wal Jamaa'ah.    The scholarship is not limited to any particular city or state within the United States; it allows the family to choose the school, best fit for their sons or daughters.

Young Professionals Inc is 100% Muslim owned and operated, federally recognized, 501(c)3 non profit organization.  Scholarships administered by YOUNG PROFESSIONALS Inc are intended to strengthen the quality of education for every qualifying student.  These scholarships, Insha-Allah, will help pay for tuition, room and board and/or any mandatory fees associated with direct educational costs, Insah-Allah.  To qualify for a scholarship, the student must have unmet needs as verified by the school?s financial support office.  Each applicant must meet the required criteria to be awarded the scholarship.  Please note: these are not college scholarships; they are intended for middle and high school students.  However elementary students may also be considered.

Our goal, Insha-Allah, is to get all Muslim children out of institutions that do not follow the Qur'an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam)

Access to a college education has never been more important for individuals and society! A college education opens up unlimited possibilities and helps students to discover and foster their unique gifts.  However every student on the road to college must first overcome the responsibility of high school.  Attending the right high school can make an enormous difference in getting accepted and receiving scholarships to the colleges and universities of our choice.  We encourage parents to make an investment in their child?s futures and find an Islamic school with a firm grounding in proper Islamic fundamentals, which can make an incredible difference, in this life and the next.

We also  encourage every parent to request that the schools impliment a strong Islamic College Prep Program which will provide support in numerous ways:

An Islamic College Prep Program  provides information and advice to prospective students and their parents, about which colleges may be best for the student and how college studies can help them meet their personal and professional goals.  This should include individual assistance with an academic counselor and access to computer and Internet services for career information and for college selection.  An Islamic College Prep Programs should also offer group workshops on college preparatory topics to help guide the student in the best direction.

Students on the verge of graduating from high school and wish to continue their education, but are unable to attend an Islamic University, can search through hundreds of college scholarship and grant programs, using our YOUNG PROFESSIONALS INC SCHOLARSHIPS site.  For scholarship consideration, each student must complete the YOUNG PROFESSIONALS INC GENERAL application.  If additional information is needed after completion of your application the ?Young Professionals Inc? scholarship committee will notified you by way of phone or email.

If you are selected to receive a YOUNG PROFESSIONALS INC scholarship, you will be sent an official award letter from YOUNG PROFESSIONALS INC.

To be considered for a Young Professionals Inc scholarship, each student MUST:

1.  Complete the Young Professionals Inc application by the necessary deadline.

2.  Students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale

3.  Students must have unmet need as verified by the school?s financial aid office.

4.  Students must complete the Application for Federal Student Aid.

Please note:
Other eligibility criteria may be required.  All students that apply may not receive an award scholarship.

All success is with Allah, may the Salaat and the Salaam be upon the Messenger, his family and his companions.  May Allah forgive you, and bestow Barakat upon you, your family and your companions for any sins and/or transgression and may He bestow His Rahma, Birr and Taqwa upon you, your family and your companions for striving to remain on the straight path.  Ameen!
