ENGLISH TEACHERS URGENTLY REQUIRED (Jeddah, Arabian Peninsula)
Our client requires 1 teacher for an immediate start in February and
a further 8 teachers to start in August 2004. An excellent salary and
related package are on offer. The requirements are as follows:
? Ideally a Bachelors Degree in English Language with a good result
? An Educational Diploma such as a PGCE or equivalent
? Evidence of teaching at an Elementary Stage
? Ability to deal with and tolerate Elementary Stage students
? 4-5 years experience
? Ability to utilise Information Technology to deliver teaching
? A natural English speaker who has an American or British accent
? A non-smoker
In addition to the excellent basic salary further benefits include:
? Accommodation - worth 2 months basic salary
? Transportation - approximately 300 SR (45 GBP) per month
? Airline Ticket s - for 2 adults and 1 child
? Health Insurance
? Vacation - 30 days
? Training - free training will be provided for teachers
The contract will be for 1 year initially. This job will be based in

As Salaam Alaikum
Just for Future References.
What type of English Degree?
An English Degree in Grammar, Linguistices or a Tesol English Degree
IUPUI in Indianapolis (local university) has a two year master degree program in tesol, however, their Masters in English is only for writing, literature and Linguistics.
If I decided to get one of these degrees, I do not have any experience teaching English to Children
I am an attorney who was a substitute teacher in Chicago, briefly. I have been teaching legal courses at Ivy Tech in Indianapolis for the past 2 or 3 years.
Please advise.
