بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم We here at Daarul Hadeeth wal Athar of Harlem would like to thank all who came and helped us bring the Dawah to N.Y.C once again. We'd like to send a special thanks to our brother Abu Ismaael Mustafa George for keeping us in touch with the scholars. SPUBS, TROID, TRP, Daarul Hadeeth wal Athar of Philly(OUR PARENTS), Tazkiyah, the Admin. @ Salafitalk, and all who have suppoted our efforts thus far. We'd like to thank our counterparts, the brother Tawheed Abdus Shakur and his family(the founders of Bedouin Refuge Inc. and the Dawahtus Salafiyyah Sisters Bookclub), The brothers at The Muslim Student Organization of City College, and the Admin. of Masjid Al Muslimeen for their help and support in spreading the Dawah here in N.Y.C.. Our wives for being patient with us upon the sunnah. Our brothers Abu Muhammad Al Magribi, Abu Uwais Abdullah, and Abu Abdullah Hasan As Somaalee for the beneficial talks. Brothers Abu Muhammad Al Looweesi'aani and Abdul Latif for their time and effort with the sound-system. Abu Mustafa Abdul Khaliq Sameer for making the PalTalk broadcast possible. Umar (Abu Masjid) and his crew for keeping the security tight. The school cook (May Allah Guide Her), the sisters who cooked, Kalim Abdullah (SHAYKH), and all those who helped serve the food. The vendors who came out. Especially the sister with that delicious cake. Last but not least, all of those who gave so generously and helped us pay off most of our bills, here at the Markaz. We hope to see you all in the coming months for our next event, InshaAllah. Allah says in his book; "Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al Ma'ruf ( i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al Munkar (polytheism and disbelif and all that Islam has forbidden) . And it is they who are the successful. The Mundeer of Daarul Hadeeth wal Athar of Harlem Abu Layla Abdul Basir Al Muwahid سبحانك اللهم وبحمدك أشهد أن لا إله إلا أنت أستغفرك وأتوب إليك

Al-Hamdulillah wa salatu wa salamu 'ala Rasululla Amma ba'd; a alaikum salam wa rahmatullah; And may Allah Ta'Ala reward you all for putting together a very good event. Four of us came down from Rochester,NY and we had been down to NYC for other Salafi events and yours was not a disappointment, Hamdulillah. They are very knowledgable affairs and I always inform everyone who could not attend about the Adab of the Sisters at these affairs, the security, the Salat and of course the display of knowledge. FYI... A few of those who attend, and are TRAVELERS, but they join the ranks behind the local Imam, should probably be informed to pray the four rakats. I've seen this at quite a few events and it is because they don't know. Maybe an annoucement before Salat for the general might help us inform the Muslims of the better or proper practice, insha'allah. This is no more than nasihah. Abu Na'imah Shamsuddin

Jazakallahu Khair, brother Abu Naimah. We realized later that the prayer should have been lead by a traveller so that those who were travelling had the option to shorten the prayer. We apologize for any inconvienence this may have caused for those who came to attend the event. We will make sure to give everyone their right in the future, InshaAllah. Jazakallahu khairun Beautiful affair though and we look forward to coming out for more events, insha'llah. Everything was tayyib, Hamdulillah, those few Muslims who were near me, of course I pulled them to the side and instructed them as to what they should have done and they were appreciative, Hamdulillah. Again, the Muslims learned at this gathering. There was really no problem, but your consideration in that matter for the musafir would be accepted I think,Allahu A'lam, may Allah Ta'Ala continue bless you all.
