UK Salafi 5-A-Side Football Tournament Rules
? Registration of £40 payable before tournament begins.
? Tournament will begin at 2pm, if you turn up late, then you
may be penalised for any match you may miss.
? Each team will be given 2 minutes after the scheduled start time
for each match, before the opposing team are given a 3-0 victory
by default. SO BE ON TIME.
? 5 players at any one time per team on the playing field.
? Unlimited number of substitutes during game.
? Each game will be 15 minutes.
? Top two teams from each group will go into the semi-final.
? Final will be 30 minutes. 15 minutes each half.
? Free-kick will be awarded for ball going over head height of the
tallest player on the field at the time.
? Ball going above head height from goalkeeper, the ball will be
returned to the goalkeeper.
? Goalkeeper not allowed to kick the ball, only underarm throw outs.
? If a player receives the ball from the goalkeeper, he is not
allowed to return the ball to the goalkeeper, it must be played
to another outfield player.
? Goalkeeper coming out of the area, results in a penalty for the
opposing team, likewise if a player enters his own goalkeeper?s
area, a penalty will be awarded to the opposing team.
? Penalty kick will be a one step penalty kick. (No long run up!!!)
? Yellow card will result in a £5 fine, payable after that match,
failure to pay will mean exclusion from the remainder of the
tournament for that player.
? Red card will result in a £10 fine, payable after that match,
failure to pay will mean exclusion from the remainder of the
tournament for that player.
? Yellow card will be awarded at the referee?s discretion for foul
play, such as unnecessary kicks in the shin, knee, or
elsewhere!!!! Shirt pulling etc.
? Red cards will be awarded for ANY foul language or abusive
behaviour to ANY of the brothers including the referee.
? The referee?s decision is FINAL.
? Red card could result in a permanent exclusion from the
tournament, depending on the severity of the incident. This will
be on the referee?s discretion. Insha-allah we will not have any
red cards in the tournament.
