Does anyone have information on the person known as "sheikh" Ahmed who is with Wallace Deen Muhammed's followers? From what I have heard, he is an african-american who is sponsored by the Wallace Deeni's, he travels around by jet and gives lectures. If anyone has info. on this individual it would be greatly appreciated.

Bismillaah, wal-hamdulillaah, was-salaatu was-salaamu 'alaa rasulillaah, wa ba'd,
I don't know of this Ahmed, but he can't be the only one. There is someone in Oakland, Ca known as Faheem Shuaibe. It is in regards to the community of people who follow the manhaj of Warith Deen (the son of that reviver of Shirk and kufr, Elijah Poole of the Nation of Kufr) that I asked about the notion of the Ahl al-hadith and their opposition to Ahl al-Rayy. For those brothers and sisters outside of the United States or those who have not been witnesses to the followers of Warith Deen, the misconceptions and sometimes outright purposeful distortion of Islaam by this community could be completely shocking and disturbing.
This community has opened many masajid (can we call what they open a masjid?) throughout the US. Within the walls of these places are taught, from personally witnesses these things, every form of bida'h that has existed. This community and its imams have made a part of their promotion, the rejection of the Sunnah. Rather they explain away the Sunnah as being "the customs of those Arabs." These people make a game of criticising the ahadith and then rejecting them. I recently heard one of these misguided innovators ask another to produce a hadith for the reason she entered a room, at which point, May Allaah guided them or break their backs, this ignoramus made up a statement to the effect of "reported Anas, Beware of the one who will come in future times by the name of fulan wa fulan for she will be angry and not care." And these are the people who young men in my area think are "deep and have knowledge."
I know there are brothers who can quote other evil statements and beliefs from people of this group. I remember our brother Dawud Adib having done a series of talks on the ignorance of the people of the Warith Deen community about 7 or 8 years ago (I was not there, but I have it on tape). They have made war upon Ahl us-Sunnah (the Salafiyyun) with their claims that anyone who follows the manhaj of the Salaf is blindly following men, and worse Arab men. As I mentioned before, every form of bida'h I have ever heard or read about, I have witnessed by this community. You have people there who curse the Sahaba, people who deny that Allaah's attributes or explain them in the most ignorant manner, people who declare ALL of the Muslim lands to be upon misguidance and away from the deen, and those who say that their personal intellect (what little I have ever witnessed) is sufficient for understanding this blessed deen.
These people have begun in recent days to hold lessons on explaining the ayaat of Allaah ta'ala, which were you to hear them would make you think these people were majnoon. Several of their number have opened rooms on the system known as Paltalk for the purpose of giving dawa'h to their disgusting ideology. Yaa ikhwaan, you may take my words or reject my words, but it is my humble opinion that these people are as bad or worse a trial for the Muslims in the US as Kabbani and Louis Farrakhan. I have met in recent days, members of this group who will attempt to interpret the Qur'an with a contemporary Arabic-English dictionary they just bought and they can't even put together a complete sentence in Arabic nor hold a conversation in Arabic, Allah alim.
These people are at war with Ahl as-Sunnah, in my opinion. Many of them are deniers of the Asma-was-Sifaat of Allaah, rejecters of the Sunnah and hadith of the Messenger of Allaah (Sallalahu alaihi wa sallam) and opponents to the dawah-us-Salafiyyah. I do not have the ability to address my concerns directly to the ulamah, though I have asked many brothers who may have that ability to do so. I believe, and Allaah alim, that WE have been too lenient with this group over the years. Those who could be brought to the Haqq by Kitaab wa Sunnah I am sure are out there and we should be kind and gentle in regards to them. But the callers to this ignorance and bida'h (Wa laahi) they put in my mind the history of ibn Abi Du'ad and his fitna for Ahl al-hadith during the Mihna and the times of Imam Ahmad. Yaa ikhwaan wa ikwaat, it is time that we refuted these people. The dawa't-tu-Salafiyyah is under assault from every angle and it is upon those who have the ability to make the explanation clear to the people. Please forgive me for my long posts, but this has been on my mind for a long time and if the brothers can aid us in repelling this evil, May Allaah reward you. Jazak'Allaah khayr.

Ahki Umar, Jazak Allahu Khair for this beneficial information on this deviant sect, especially for the brothers and sisters who are not yet aware of this vulgar group of people. Some of the Muslim youth here were talking about this so-called "sheikh Ahmed" who will be visiting our area sometime this month (may Allah expose him and humiliate him). Although I am familiar with some of the deviant teachings of Wallace Deen and his followers, it was the first time I have heard about this "sheikh Ahmed" who is sponsored by them and goes around lecturing.
