asalamu alaikum, there is one teacher here [Nigeria], who claimed to be upon the salafi manhaj but does not make difference in bidah, he beleives that all bidah is the same in its rulings and he declares whoever falls into any bidah a kaafir after he has explained to him he says" it is not a condition for him to comprehend as far as the message as reached him". he beleives that anyone can make takfeer as far as he knows the condition of takfeer. he beleives that eating with spoon is an innovation claiming that the prophet eat with three fingers. he also beleives that any bidah invalidates every deeds of any innovator. he also claimed that Imam Barbahaaree did not make difference in bidah. l was with them formally thinking they were right l even introduced my father to them. my father has every of their aqeeedahs he does not pray behind any innovator thinking they are kuffar he has boycotted every mosques in his area he prefer praying alone than praying behind any innovator. these are the fitnah we are experiencing in Ilorin, Kwara State North Central Nigeria. The name of their ustadth is muhammad Alli Jabata he studied in azhar university in Egypt and under some anonymous scholars but he used to mention and praised Mustapha Salamah.
