I only know that he was recently living (and maybe still living) in Jeddah.

As-salaamu 'alaikum

I met this brother in Mina when I was on Hajj 2 yrs ago.He has written a book called "Getting the best out of Hajj" in which he quotes references from shaikh bin Baz and sheikh Al-Albaani(rahimahumallah) but also from some other non-salafi individuals.

He originates from South Africa and has been living in KSA for more than 10 yrs.As for his manhaj I am not sure. While he was in Mina on Hajj he was giving out the book "Difference of opinion amongst the scholars - their causes and our position towards them" by Sheikh ibn Uthaymeen(rahimahullah).

That's all I really know.
