Short Biography of the Shaykh from today's lecture on paltalk:-
The Shaykh is a graduate of the Imaam Muhammad bin Sażud Islamic University in Riyadh, College of Shareeżah
He is a student of many of the great Shaykhs of our time, including the late Shaykh al-żAllaamah al-Muhaddith żAbdul-Azeez bin żAbdullaah bin Baaz, Allaah have mercy upon him, the late Shaykh al-żAllaamah al-Faqeeh Muhammad bin Saalih bin Muhammad al-żUthaymeen, may Allaah have mercy upon him and Shaykh al-żAllaamah al-Usoolee Saalih bin Fawzaan al-Fawzaan, may Allaah preserve him, as well as others. The Shaykh, may Allaah preserve him, is a teacher and an Imaam of Masjid Salaah ad-Deen in Riyadh.
These lectures are now suspended till the end of Ramadhaan and after Ramadhaan, Masjid As-Salaam will start new classes by Shaykh Hammad or Shaykh Rayyis or other Mashaykh hafithahumullaah inshAllaah.

It pleases your brothers from Masjid as-Salaam (Ogden, Utah) to inform you that our Noble Shaykh Hamad bin żAbdul-żAzeez al-żAteeq, may Allaah preserve him, has agreed to give us a series of classes and lectures entitled: żGuidelines for Raising Families in the West.ż Theyżll start, if Allaah Wills, this coming Sunday (August 3, 2008) at 10:00 pm (Riyadh Time), 3:00 pm (Eastern Time) and 1:00 pm (Mountain Time), and continue on thereafter every Sunday.
They will be broadcast, if Allaah Wills, on PalTalk - Religion and Theology - Islam ż LIVE Masjid as Salaam Ogden UT USA.

Furthermore, they will be translated, if Allaah Wills, by our beloved Brother Abu Yoosuf Khaleefah.
As for the weekly classes with our Shaykh Rayyis, may Allaah preserve him, they are to be cancelled during the above mentioned series of lectures, per his request. Upon their completion, we are, if Allaah Wills, to continue the weekly classes with Shaykh Rayyis. PLEASE MAKE A NOTE OF THAT.
