Madeenah Book 1 and 2: Teaching Qur?anic and traditional Arabic which is taught at the renowned Islamic University of Al-Madeenah K.S.A.
Sheikh Al-Islaam Ibni Taimiyah said: ?The Arabic Language is from the religion, and knowledge of it is fardun: waajibun (obligatory). Verily the understanding of the Book and Sunnah is fardun (obligatory) and it i.e. the Qur?aan and Sunnah can not be acquired except by having knowledge of the Arabic Language. So therefore anything that is required to fulfil an obligatory act is in itself mandatory. (Iqtida assiratul mustaqeem, Vol 1 pg: 527)
