Bismillaahi r-Rahmaani r-Raheem, as-Salaatu was-Salaamu 'ala rasulillaah, wa ba'd, as-salaam `alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuhu, Jazaaka Allaahu Khaira yaa Abaa Zakaria for posting this question here. We in Holland have soortgelijke questions, because we have also the waqf mosque and the turqish mosque & also some brothers live very far from the masaadjid. So I also hope to find a proper answer on this one. wa Hayaakumullaah, was-Salaam `alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuhu,

As Salaamu Alaikum Upon his visit to Dammam yesterday, I asked Shaykh Ubaid a similar question. This is not the wording of the question I presented but what was described to me by a brother from Australia. The exact wording and answer can perhaps be posted in the future when the cassette is available inshaa Allaah. The situation was as follows: When there is only one masjid that is known to be hizbee in the area and another further away or perhaps in another city that is run by regular muslims or individuals who do not have any apparent innovations and fitnah in their khutbahs, should one go there and pray or pray his Jumu'ah with the hizbees? In general, the Shaykh responded by saying that if the masjid is hizbee and there is another masjid in which there are people of the Sunnah then of course he should pray there. This does not mean that the prayer is invalid if one were to pray with the hizbees. If it is further then he should look at the reward he will be given for going that far. I would also like to advise the brothers with what Shaykh Fawzee advised us in the past and that is to simply establish a Salafee masjid or musallah and pray there. And Allaah knows best
