If my memory serves me well, Shaykh 'Abdullah al-Ghudyaan (rahimahullaah) was also slow in speaking. Many times I heard him, he would take his words one by one. May Allaah have mercy upon him indeed.

Edit: And I believe Shaykh 'Ubayd al-Jaabiree (hafidhahullaah) too - at least in his lectures to a Western audience.

Some of Shaykh Ubayd's lectures, especially when he is talking to a non-Arabic speaking audience, are very slow and easy to comprehend.  Shaykh Rabee's, on the other hand, I find very fast.

As salaamu'alaikum,

May Allaah reward all involved in posting these beautiful sites.Aameen

I would like to ask the brothers who have frequented the websites of the ulamaah, which of the scholars do they think have the slowest speech? I am asking so I can send it to some of the brothers I know are studing the arabic language as a tool for training the ears and utilizing what they have learned of the lanuage so far. BaarakAllaahu feekum.

Also if anyone has any advice for the Arabic Language student please post also.

Baaraka Allahu feek yaa Abaa al-'Abbaas!

Wonderful material and excellent writings by al-'Allaamah Shaykh Muhammad bin 'Umar Bazmul hafidhahullah.

Very useful for working on translations, when we get a permission insha Allah.
