Asalaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh
Barakallahu Feekum, I'm inquiring as to the authenticity of this particular book. Al wala wal bara by Muhammad Saeed al Qahtani translated in english and published by Al Firdous Ltd., London. The reason is because I was informed by a brother that I trust that this book may be on the Manhaj of al Ikhwani Muflisoon. I read that the author went to Umm al Qura and this book was a thesis towards his masters degree, this is what encouraged me to by the book along with the subject matter. I know that going to Umm al Qura does not necessarily prove one's Aqeedah and Manhaj to be correct, so I started looking through the book and seen the name Muhammad Qutb.
Does anyone know if this is the Muhammad Qutb from the Ikhwani's and is the author(Muhammad Saeed al Qahtani) known to the ikwah particularly the Tulaab ul Ilm and should I study this book or not?
All your help is appreciated and may Allaah make my question and you're responses a benefit for the Muslimeen.
