The Scholar Sheik Fawzan, may ALLAH preserve him, says in his book entitled Ponder the Qu?ran, pages 16 and 17?
So if man is heedless of the Qu?ran and time passes by him where he does not recite it then his heart will be afflicted with sickness, negligence and hardness. But if he increases his reciting then his heart will be given life and he will polish his memory.
?And with this, it is befitting for the Muslim that he should not let more than a month pass by him except that he has recited the entire Qu?ran; and this is a good range. And if he recites it in what is less than that, such as every ten days so he will complete the Qu?ran three times a month it is better. And if he completes it every seven days it is better, and if he can complete it every three days it would be better.
Because every time he increases his recitation of the Qu?ran he increases his reward, and the illumination of his insight, and the life of his heart.

Advice on how to complete the Qu?ran every month.
Follow the following advice so that you will be able to complete the Glorious Qu?ran at least once a month.
Take at least ten minutes before the Fajr prayer so that you will be able to recite two pages from the Qu?ran. (Meaning four pages if you count front and back), with five prayers a day, reciting before each prayer, we will have recited a total of ten pages in one day, (Twenty pages if you count front and back) this is a complete Juz. If we stay with this program for thirty days then we will have completed, by ALLAH?S permission, the entire Qu?ran in a month; because the Qu?ran is comprised of thirty parts.
The year is comprised of twelve months, six of which are complete and six which usually only have twenty-nine days in them. Therefore during the months which are short we can, by ALLAH?S permission, compensate by reciting two and a half pages (five pages total if you count front and back) every Friday.
May ALLAH make us and you from those whom are lead by the Glorious Qu?ran on the Day of Judgment to paradise, verily HE is the ONE who hears and answers the supplications.
