I heard that there is daleel about a man lying to his wife to maintain peace between them, specially if there are other co-wives in the family... Can someone bring statements from the ulama about this?
What is the daleel and what are the limits/conditions of this type of lying? I am assuming there are restrictions... otherwise the wife will suspect that everything her husband tells her may be a lie, which will give rise to marital disharmony. Can someone clarify this inshaAllah?
