It seems clear to me that the shaykh (hafithahullaah) was speaking about two specific names "jannatul-Firdows" and "jannat an-na'eem" - not that the idea of naming oils itself is not permissible in general.
Jazak Allaahu khairun, Moosa; you are right. BaarakAllaahu fik, ya Moosa.
If the moderator can edit the title to read: Naming Oils with Names like 'Jinnatul Firduss' not permissible, to reflect Moosa's observation, that would be great.
