Bismillah Was Salaatu Was Salaamu 'Alaa Rasuullah Was Salaamu Alaikum Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuh
I have a question concerning what a believer should do when the ranks are full for salat and he wishes to join the jama'at. As I understand it, there are a few steps that one should take. One step is that the believer should try to squeeze into the ranks if possible, even if it would mean if he had to take a step back to make rukoo & sujood. another step is to wait for another believer. and there are a few others like lining up beside the imam. can one of the tulab provide any rulings with regard to this. i believe Ibn Taymiyyah has a ruling outlining the 5 or so steps the believer should take In sha Allah.
