As-Salaam ?Alaykum wa Rahmatulah wa Barakaatu ya'salafiyoon,
Many slaughter houses (in Ohio particularly) require a meat inspector to be onsite to inspect the slaughter according to FDA rules. This coming ?Eid insha Allaah will fall on a Sunday and these inspectors usually have the day off. The local halaal meat shops say that it is permissible to delay the slaughter a day or so.
Please, insha Allaah, any of the students of knowledge can bring any authentic dhaleel from the religious texts and/or statements from the scholars to support or reject this saying.
