Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullaah.

I?d like to clarify a question that was brought up, regarding the Qiblah from North America (on the west side). In California usually we pray in the direction of North-East, but some people pray in the direction of South-East (more east than south) saying that this is more correct.

Does any one know if this question has been put forward to the Ulamaa? If so please let us know with the relevant Daleel.

You can check the direction from the website of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs of Saudi Arabia.

Choose your state and city or a nearby city and inshAllaah you will get the correct direction.

The Habashees pray in the wrong direction. They are a deviant sect.
