Can someone please assist in locating some much needed information.
The question is with regard to the uddhiyyah for the approaching 'Eidul Adhaa.
Is a woman, an unmarried woman, who does not have any muslim male family memebers or practicing muslim male family, under any obligation to slaughter? I understand that she does not physically do the slaughtering but if she can afford to, should she request a righteous brother from the community to slaughter on her behalf?
Baarak Allaahu feekum, may Allah allow us to benefit from the approaching ten days of dhul hijjah.
