As Salaamu 'Alaikum ... The G20 Summit is being held in my city this year, Pittsburgh, PA. Due to this major event, as well as the historic nature of our masjid, First Muslim Mosque of Pittsburgh (est. 1932), Al-Jazeerah TV (Arabic Branch) has requested to interview us and film our Jumu'ah service. However, the nature of the interview centers around the historic nature of our masjid within the African-American community/context. We would like to request that the interview be centered around aspects of Salafiyyah, such as Salafiyyah's stance against terrorism, and topics of this nature that serve to clarify misconceptions. We are requesting any advice from the Students of Knowledge regarding this issue, especially from Salafi Publications and other entities that have experience addressing the media.
