بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Once a person has written out his/her wasiyyah(will), where and with whom should it generally be kept? Should there be made multiple copies which will be kept with different individuals? السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته إبراهيم

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم Also, bare in mind that this question is from someone who lives in the land of kufr (may Allaah make it easy to make hijrah, aameen) and who has many family members who are kufaar. Should the kaffir relative(s) be trusted to execute the wasiyyah of a Muslim? This message was edited by ibrahim.bukhari on 12-22-03 @ 3:16 AM

wa 'alaykumus-salaam, The hadeeth of Ibn 'Umar, as found in al-Bukhaaree and Muslim and others, shows that the Sunnah is to keep the wasiyyah with you:
