Shaykh 'Ubayd replied that, no, they are not considered to be from Ahlus-Sunnah, and that they are ahlul-bid'ah, they are those who do not include 'amal (action) as a necessary requirement of one's eemaan, and they say that eemaan does not increase or decrease. As for the statement of some of the ulamaa', that they are closest to Ahlus-Sunnah, then this does not include them in the Sunnah, like when we say that the Christians are closer to Islaam than the Jews, this does not include them in Islaam.
