Asalaamu 'aleykum wa rahmatullaahe wa barakatuh, I have whitnessed a situation where 2 sisters has taken their shahadah, and at the same time I have noticed that instead of keeping it simple and drives the main purpose to the understanding of Tawheed and helping the sisters in practising their deen, the focus is mainly directed to celebrate the "Situation" so as to welcome the sisters. On this notice I wanted to know what is the way and the process to adopt as per the sunnah or Quran to help the new comers and is celebration and special gathering allowed? It is very important as this is happening in a masjid and performed by people of knowledge and wanted to confirm whether they are right or wrong? To my experience when I was in London uk with the salafi people, the proceeding was kept simple and humble and to the point,whereas this time it was to my opinion "overdoing", but I don't want to raise any personal perception before I have the right source to bring forward.
