.....asalalaikum. i have a qn that i cant seem to find an answer for, and no one has been able to give me a decent answer! can someone explain what the right hand possesion is, i have heard it is a woman, or many women, that a man can have sex with, even though he is married already, and this 'sex slave' is not his wife. is there some exception to the rule that a man can sleep with someone other than his lawful wife and not be under the punishment of adultery or fornication? i dread when my mum will find out about the right hand possesion cos i just dont know what to say, and she already thinks islam is a religion to suit mens pleasures and desires, and i cant say anything in response or defense, cos i just dont know! please can someone get back to me regarding this wasalaam newonthedeen
