May Allaah grant us At-Tawfeeq to take some time to review and benefit from the advices of Shaikh Rabee' (hafizahullaah) and reward the brothers for posting it here so that the benefits may become widespread.

And remind (by preaching the Qur'ân,O Muhammad(صلى الله عليه و سلم), for verily, the reminding profits the believers. [Adh-Dhaariyaat 51:55]

Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allâh),  But it will be avoided by the wretched ...[Al-A'laa 87:9-11]

* * *

From Ibn 'Abbaas (radiyallaahu 'anhumaa) who said that Allaah's Messenger (صلى الله عليه و سلم) said:
"There is no believing servant except that he has a sin which he commits from time to time, or a sin which he persists in and does not abandon until he leaves this world. Indeed the believer was created as one who is frequently tried and tested, who often repents and (then) forgets. When he is admonished he accepts the admonition."

(Hadeeth reported by at-Tabaraanee in al-Mu'jamul Kabeer (no. 11810). Shaikh 'Alee Hasan Al-Halabee (hafizahullaah) mentioned that the hadeeth is at the least Hasan. - extracted from his book on Forty Hadeeth on the Islaamic Personality - translated by Aboo Talhah Daawood ibn Ronald Burbank, pg. 17, First Ed. 1416H/1995CE published Al-Hidaayah)

Then he stated:
quote:
"So it is as is said: Returning to the truth is a virtue whereas continuing in falsehood is despicable."
