Walaykumus salaam, He is not Salafee. Malbari is the head of a well-known hizbee forum that has errors concerning both manhaj and mustalah al-hadeeth. He has been refuted by Shaykh Rabee' al-Madkhalee, in fact Shaykh 'Abdul-Muhsin al-'Abbaad has recommended Shaykh Rabee's refutation of him.
