Assalamu Allaykum

Lately, there has been a lot of rumors that saudia arabia has changed it's manhaj due to the pressure from the kuffar governments. is this true...or..are these hizbi's spreading false rumors? Some of them are saying that even boys and girls are going to the same school and by Allah I would like to know the truth and put these rumors to an end at my locality.

Jazakallah Khair

Rather those schools that allow mixed classes from the private schools are to be seperated. Some of these schools will be closed next year as they are not able to change

So it is a lie to affirm the opposite.

Cigarettes have been officially banned and their sales are now prohibited in Makkah and Madeenah.

For some time I was worried about some of the teachers' personal ijtihaads about not praying in the masjid when the salaah is established and we hear the athaan.  It just so happened that a teacher tried to keep us from praying in the masjid so he could finish his lesson.  When I complained to the department, I found that the school had recently passed an accross the board rule (a "ta'meem") that all teachers and their students must leave their classes at the time of the salaah and pray in jamaa'ah.

The government just recently jailed an American who makes takfeer and deported an American Ash'aree.

I was told that an official ban on the books of Sayyid Qutb is in the works, may Allaah make that a reality.

Just to mention a few changes I've seen here, may Allaah increase this place in goodness...

We ask Allaah to keep the leaders firm upon the manhaj of the Salaf no matter what pressure is put on them, we ask Allaah to aid them and continue to aid His Deen by way of them.

masha allah, may Allah protect the government from any evil and harm. It is so nice to see a muslim country to stand firm on their religion.

Na'm mashallah , still there is plenty of good in the Mamlakah.
On the way home from work this afternoon (just before dhuhr adhan- busy time) I noticed a large gathering crowding in an area by the main road. I thought it was a fight and was about to keep driving, when I saw a police officer with a cane in his hand, and he was whipping! I parked up and there it was, a list of names in one official's hands and three officers, each with a cane. As they finished one set of lashing they started the next. Alhamdulillah right in an area where all would see it. As I walked away I realised that a much larger public crowd had gathered, including some other teachers from our school!
Al Hamdulillah, Awwalan wa Aakhiran

We followed up what happened at the forum and which should be denounced... namely, the mixing of men and women and the latter?s appearance without wearing the hijab ordered by God,? the mufti said.

This is prohibited. (Moreover), newspapers published their pictures in this state which violates Shariah,? he said in a statement carried by the official Saudi Press Agency.

?I warn against the dire consequences that such practices will have,? he said

?What is even more painful is that such outrageous behavior should have happened in Saudi Arabia, the land of the Two Holy Mosques, whose rulers consistently abided by Shariah without fear of criticism... and remain on this right path, thanks be to God,? the mufti said.

Last week there was an ecomnic forum in Jeddah and certain things against Islam happened there ie free mixing.  Subhaan'Allaah! Look how quicky the Mufti condemned it. Look at the excellent words of the Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Asheikh.

It is easy to pick out talk about rumours and talk about them, however I live here and can say that I would never leave this beautiful land of Tawheed. I urge all my brothers in the West to do what they can in order to come and live this land and benefit their deen!!

This is the best country for us to be in at the present time and everyone should strive to come here. These are our best rulers in our present times, as the Mufti says:

whose rulers consistently abided by Shariah without fear of criticism... and remain on this right path, thanks be to God,? the mufti said.

Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan also openly condemned this same economic forum in Jeddah. Read his statement here:

Translation soon to follow, in shaa' Allaah.
