Assalaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullaah, Question: What is the condition of an organisation named Jaama'ah-ul-Birr, in the United Arab Emirates ? Is it a real Salafi organization ??? Was Salaamu Alaikum Ibn Umar (d. 84H) said: "Every innovation is misguidance, even if the people see it as something good." (Reported by Abu Shaamah no. 39)

as-Salaamu alaykum- As for this organization then I have heard firstly from shaykh Muhammad Abdul-Wahab al-Banna that they were Hizby when he lectured us last Summer here in Egypt. Also I have a taped conversation with our shaykh Fawzee al-Atharee stating that one of the reason Usaamah Qusee has changed was a direct result of this Jaama'atul Bir in Dubai. He also labeled them as Hizby. If you need further clearity then we suggest you contact the people of knowledge if this is possible for you. Love for Ahlus-Sunnah wa Hadeeth Aboo Zaahid
