Asalaamu alaykum wa rahmutallaahi wa barakatuh,

I am posting this question on behalf of a sister inshaa'Allaah.

1) Is it permissible to give sadaqah on behalf of the dead who are not your parents, children or any relative?

2) Will a Muslim be punished for being forced to stop worshipping Allaah and being forced to practice witch craft?

These questions are of vital importance and urgency if one of the tulaab could ask one of the Mashayikh that would be very helpful inshaa'Allaah.

BarakaAllaahu feekum

Know this, and beware! Beware that their emit from your tongue a saying which will count against you on the Day of Judgement. Make sure that your tongue is continuously articulating the truth or that it remains silent as the Messenger of Allaah(sallallaahu ýalayhi wa sallam) said,

"whosoever believes in Allaah and the Last Day then let him speak only good or remain silent." [Bukhaaree]
