Asalaam Alay kum Wa rahmatullah, I am a sister who has recently moved from Berkshire to Birminghsm so we could be closer to the Salafi Dawah ,Inshallah. I aam currently homeschooling two of my three sons, both of whom are under 5. I would like to get in touch with other sister who have children of similar age and who live in and around Birmingham. Or maybe there are sisters who already meet up to exchange ideas and resourses. if so please do get in touch, Inshallah it would be a benefit for us. Umm YAhyaa

Wa alaikom Assalam ukhti fi Islam, I was wondering the same. I have never been on any sister gathering here at Birmingham's salafi masjid, and I wonder perhaps if one should go there to find out more about homeschooling. I have a son who's 1 and a half years old. Maybe he's too young to be taught anything but Im keen to start on giving him Islamic classes, maybe memorise the alphabet or short sura of Qur'an. I have heard of 2 years old memorising short suras thats why I was encouraged to do so too. I would love to go to the sister gatherings and I live very close by the masjid but I have no idea how to get in there and where exactly is the sister's entrance. Also Im not aware of when exactly they meet and what time it is. I would appreciate someone contacting me regarding this. Jazakom Allah khair Um Abdurahman
