The 'Why Islaam' weekly lectures began few years back in Birmingham UK and was aimed at providing an oportunity for non - Muslims to find out about Islaam and to clarify any of the widespread misconceptions within a controlled comfortable enviroment. (Some of these lectures were recorded and compiled on a CD for free distribution - see Non muslim section)
We would like to pilot a similar programme at various locations / venues throughout the UK. The programme would be a one day seminar consisting of two lectures and an open Q&A session. The whole programme would run for approx. 3 - 4 hours incl. any intervals.
We have never charged those who attend and strongly request and advise that it would remain a free event.
We do not charge for lectures however we would request that travel expense i.e petrol money for the speaker(s)would be covered.
A 'Why Islaam' poster template will be provided as well as any required support and advice.
All that would be upon participants is
1. Organising a venue (average ý20 p/hr)
2. Printing and distributing poster/leaflets
3. Ordering and providing free literature
4. Covering petrol for speaker
5. Confirmation that participants are Salafi
