'Gentle Gems' have organised an event to raise money for HMCC in west london - aiding them to purchase the property that is currently being used as a masjid. We urge sisters to attend and donate to this worthy cause. Our fundraiser is on: Saturday 3rd November In the (downstairs) main hall at Durning Hall, Earlham Grove, Forest Gate E7 2.15pm to 5.30 pm Entry fee - Adults (16+ = £2); Kids (7-16years = £1); Under 7's go free Sisters and girls welcome - strictly no boys over the age of 7 allowed, (so please make suitable child-minding arrangements for them) Stalls include: A special marquee for sisters to have their hair cut in privacy with no worries of being seen Mehndi, Leather handbags, purses and gloves, Islamic Art, Books, Jilbaabs, Bric n Brac, Cake and biscuit decorating for children Hot food and snacks Delicious home-baked cakes Chocolate fountain indulgence for all All ladies are welcome! Assalaamu alaikum, 'Gentle Gems' would like to thank all the people who attended and donated to our fundraiser yesterday. Mashallah we were very happy with the support we received from sisters from all over London. A special thanks to sisters who came all the way from West London to support us, we were really happy to meet you and we appreciate your support. May Allaah reward in this life and the next, all of those who contributed towards this worthy cause, ameen. Umm Mariam
