Asalaamulaiykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakatu, A Salafi friend of mine will be travelling to Syria for a year, as part of his Arabic degree at a university here in the UK. The university chose Syria for him, so he has no choice. He would like to know if there are any Salafi Scholars or students of knowledge that he could benefit from during his stay in Syria. InshażAllah if anyone can provide any recommendations by the well known scholars for any students of knowledge or scholars in Syria this would be very helpful. BarakażAllaah feekum, Wasalaamulaiykum.
