As Salaamu 'Alaikum ... Would the administrations of the Salafee Masaajid and Maraakiz here in the United States post their announcements for the beginning of Ramadhaan here on ST? I believe that this would be quite helpful, in-shaa'Allaah. As for Masjid Al-Awwal here in Pittsburgh, PA, then we are following local sighting in accordance with the fataawaa of Shaikh Wasee Allaah 'Abbaas (www.bakkah.net) and Imaam Ibn 'Uthaimeen (www.fatwa-online.com). Here in Pittsburgh, it is rainy, foggy and the sky is very much overcast, so we doubt that we will be able to see the moon, wa Allaahu 'alam.
