as-salaamu 'alaykum, can a poor person feed another in their own immediate family to pay a fidyah? for example, can a poor woman who is breastfeeding or pregnant feed her husband who is also poor as a fidyah? also, can children be fed to pay the fidyah, or does the poor person have to be a certain age? aboo husaam shaheed williams
