On the homepage of the website of the "Ramadhan Foundation" there is an e-flyer for their forthcoming convention on muslim unity.
The speakers include Imran Waheed (Hizb ut-Tahrir), Jamal Badawi (Mu'tazili), Yvonne Ridley and Dr. Bilal Philips.

Shabir Ally said in his so called refutation and dawah to the hindus:
that in a particular area in India, the govt had to take action to exterminate the rats worshipped by the hindus. But the extremists amongst them,(the salafis amongst them)were defiant and would not allow the authorities to kill their gods (i.e. the rats)
Shabir's congregation laughed when he said this.
Thus shabir Ally compares the actions of those who fight to uphold shirk to the actions of those who wage war against shirk and innovations.

Shabbir Ally is also a man who believes it to be permissible to reject an authentic hadeeth if it doesn't agree with your intellect. This has been mentioned on tape, also he claims that we need a new Madhaab as our scholars have become stagnated writing "Books of Sharh (explanations) and then explanations of them and then having to write summaries of those explanations." These statements are what caused one of the members of the QSS Canadian chapter (named Aboo Yoonus) to start yelling in the background at his lecture (I guess they became upset since they supported him all those years).
It was also Shabbir Ally who often brought Bilaal Philips to Toronto where Bilaal exposed himself in his "Stop the Discord" lecture. So it should come as no surprise that they would be lecturing together.
