Why Lie To Cause Separation!?
Recently a particularly evil website that has taken up the banner in defence of the innovator of Ma'rib, Abul-Fitan al-Misree, has started posting articles to cause further division amongst the Salafis.
They utilise lying as a means of, firstly, defending the one over whom they have become majnoon, i.e. Abul-Fitan, secondly to divert away from the real issues of the evil of their leader, Abul-Fitan, and thirdly, to create further strife amongst the Salafis, to divide them and cause one to hate another.
Abul-Fitan and his followers did not suffice at throwing aspersions at the Companions of Allaah's Messenger, 'alayhi salaatu wassallaam - It did not suffice them to attack the honour of the Major Scholars of our times, rather they continue in their evil and cause further division.
But this should not surprise any of us; since even the Companions (radhi Allaahu 'anhum) are not safe from their tongues, so how can we expect to be safe from their evil.
Shaykhul-Islaam Ibnut-Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) was not safe from Abul-Fitan lying upon him, so why should we be surprised from the lies cast against us from his partisans (hizbees). He lied and falsely attributed to Shaykhul-Islaam that which was not correct with respect to the honour of the Companions.
And do not forget the statement of the likes of Ash-Shaykh Muhammad bin Haadee al-Madkhalee and Ash-Shaykh Saaleh as-Suhaymee who report upon Abul-Fitan that he said upon his entry into Madeenah earlier last year: "Either the Shaykhs of Madeenah will agree with me, if not, then separation is more beloved to me." (!!)
So now, upon their websites of evil and slander, they have started to target certain individuals whom they see as the barriers against their call to tamyee' and hizbiyyah - and their blind love for Abul-Fitan has led them to the Manhaj of lying and deception. And this is the way of Al-Ikhwaan Al-Muslimoon in their slogan, "The ends justify the means." So since the end is to raise the innovator of Ma'rib and introduce his false principles (that are in reality those of Hasan al-Bannah and Qutb) into the ranks of the Salafis in the most subtlest of manners, then whatever means needs to employed that will lead to this end are justified as far as they are concerned.
Recently, they posted some statements that they ascribed to myself, in which they claimed that I spoke ill of Shaykh Abu Anas Hamad al-Uthmaan, hafidhahullaah of Kuwait. They attributed to me that which has not and never emanated from me, absolutely. I have known the Shaykh for over seven or eight years personally. I benefited from him greatly in the knowledge that he possesses as well as benefiting from his duroos, books and tapes. I do not regard myself as his student, but just as one who benefited from his 'ilm, may Allaah preserve him.
After I saw the evil that was posted, by way of statements ascribed to the Shaykh and to myself, I phoned the Shaykh to inform him of what they had posted. The Shaykh affirmed that the article contains lies to cause separation.
So I say, since these liars can be easily defeated by the stern invocation to Allaah, that I bring myself forward and invoke Allaah, the Most High, that I did not speak about the Shaykh Abu Anas with what they attribute to me of evil. And I invoke the curse of Allaah upon the liars.
Now if these people who post such evil under hidden names have the certainty of what they say. I call them to come forward and do the same. Bring your families and you children and let us see what you share of the truth! Wallaahi, they are nothing but deceivers ? and as Al-Allaamah 'Ubayd Al-Jaabiree, hafidhahullaah, said: "What do the hizbiyyoon have remaining with them except lies"!.
May Allaah guide these people to their senses before The Day comes upon them, when there are no more deeds and no return back to the Earth to rectify the evil their hands have earned.
Wassallaam 'alaykum wa rahmatullaah
