As-salaamu alyakum wa rahmatullah Shaykh Mohammad Al-Banna gave his dars last Sunday, though unfortunately it was not broadcast on paltalk as planned and neither was it translated . His dars was on the topic of the Hajj of the Prophet (sallallahualyhi wasallam)as is narrated in the hadeeth of Jaabir. The shaykh mashallah sat upon his plastic chair for one hour and twenty minutes, explaining and detailing the Hajj of the Prpohet (sallallahualyhi wasallam). May Allah preserve and strengthen the shaykh for after half that time I could feel my back giving way and my feet going numb. Subhaanallah, the shaykh didn't mind that the computer (meant to transmit the dars on Paltalk) hadn't turned up and he made excuses for the brother responsible. Still at the end of the dars I asked him about next weeks dars and he said "Yes inshallah, we have about two weeks before I will stop coming (to Jeddah) due to Hajj. I want to refute those people accusing Shaykh Nasir of Irjaa" This dars should hopefully be broadcast and translated, inshallah. The shaykh was referring to a book he had in his masjid but its title didn't come clear to me. Inshallah as soon as we get some further clarification of this dars it will get posted. Incidentally the dars this week will be on Saturday night inshallah after Isha (7:45-8pm saudi time approx. 4:45-5pm UK time), as since Shaykh Rabee's dars is on hold Shaykh Al-Banna will be using that time slot.
