Bismi'llaah wal hamdu lilaah was-salaatu wa salaam 'ala Rasulilaah wa ba'd: السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته On page 52 of the Book Kitab At-Tauhid (Dar-us-Salam / English translation) Shaykhul Islaam Ibn Abdul-Wahhab رحمه الله brings the following narration: Muslim reports that Ali bin Abi Talib Radi' Allaahu Ta'ala 'anhu said:
Does anyone have statements from the People of Knowledge (may Allaah preserve them) as to whether #3 mentioned in the hadeeth refers to the mubtadi in general or is it specific to the one who "introduced" the Bid'ah or "calls" to it?
