Assalaamu 'Alaykum Wa Rahmatullaah

I wanted to know whether or not I can pray the tahiyyatul masjid whilst the adhaan is made. I.e. I enter the masjid and the muadhin is calling the adhaan, do I pray the tahiyyatul masjid whilst he is making the adhaan OR do I wait until the adhaan is completed and then pray?

With the answers I would like the daleel inshaAllaah

BaarakAllaahu feekum

I know this is not the exact answer to your question but it might help

Praying the Tahiyyatul-Masjid whilst the adhaan for Jumu'ah is being called.
Question: Should he pray the Tahiyyatul-Masjid (2 rak'ah prayer) when he enters the masjid whilst the adhaan for Jumu'ah is being called?

Response: Yes. If a Muslim enters the masjid whilst the adhaan for Jumu'ah is being called, then he should pray the Tahiyyatul-Masjid and not wait until the mu.adhdhin has finished (calling the adhaan).

  Asalamu Alykum warahamatu Allah.

Here is you answer and hopefully it is posted this time .
Shaykh Ibn żUthaymeen was asked: If I enter the mosque and the muezzin is giving the call to prayer, is it better to pray tahiyyat al-masjid or to repeat after the muezzin?

He replied:

That depends. If you enter when the muezzin is giving the call for Jumużah prayer, the adhaan that is given when the khateeb is on the minbar, in this case we say that you should hasten to pray Tahiyyat al-masjid, and you should not wait until the muezzin has finished, because preparing yourself to listen to the khutbah is more important than repeating after the muezzin, as listening to the khutbah is obligatory and responding to the muezzin is not obligatory.

But if the adhaan is not for Jumużah prayer, then it is better for you to remain standing until you have responded to the muezzin, and offered the well-known dużaaż after the adhaan:

Allaahummah Rabba haadhihiżl-dażwat il-taammah ważl-salaat il-qaażimah, aati Muhammadan al-waseelata ważl-fadeelah, wabżathhu maqaaman mahmoodan alladhi ważadtahu innaka laa tukhlif al-żmeeżaad (O Allaah, Lord of this perfect Call and the Prayer to be offered, grant Muhammad the privilege and also the eminence, and resurrect him to the praised position that You have promised, verily You do not break Your promise),

Then after that you can pray Tahiyyat al-masjid.
