Salamu alaikum wa rahmatullah; This is a question than pertains to the story of these Christians when they visited Rasulullah [sallallahu alaihi wa sallam] at his masjid in Madinah. Allah is The Best Knower, but it seems many Orientalist are now attempting to continue misleading the uneducated Muslims by telling them that; [1] Rasulullah [sallallahu alaihi wa sallam] allowed these Chrstians to stay in the masjid for three days and [2] that he also allowed them to pray in the masjid. They also use this to advocate "inter-faith tolerance." Astaghfirullaha Ta'Ala. UPDATED NOTE 06/12/05: If anyone has Siratu Rasul of Ibn Ishaq translated by A.
